The suspended 4th (the D) in that chord is sort of an optional grace note... you could play it x045x5. Also, you're repeadedly pulling off the 5th fret on the 1st string... thats why I included that note in the chord notation.
As for the capo... he probably just tuned down a half step for another song or something.
